The Effect of Movie Subtitle on Tenth Grade Students Speaking Skill

This research aims to investigate the effect of watching movie with subtitles and without on speaking skills for tenth grade in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Madiun. The experimental conducted by using quasi-experimental design. students group given treatment movies subtitles, control watched subtitles. is random sampling technique. There are 12 participants from each group. some questions based their pre-test post-test. All took post-test at end study. descriptive statistics independent t-test used analyze data. study's findings show that who were taught performed significantly better than Finally, suggest can have a positive students' skill. It proven perform As result, English teachers advised use as medium activities
